This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
You've got some good stuff here mate, I especially like the colors you choose for your watercolor paintings. Like for example your tyler painting looks really good, I don't really know how you chose colors that wouldn't clash when they blended together ^_^ I can't paint to save my life XD. If you want some blending tips for photoshop painting, you can ask me , I may not be pro but I know some helpful hints. I'm also amused how you have a 'high school before art education' section I haven't taken an art class since the 6th grade hahaha. Neways, keep making good stuff!
Thank you, what photoshop tips do you have for me? If it's just about going to 1% opacity and blending with Alt+left click then I know that kind of stuff. I felt like getting rid of that section in my gallery due to its unimpressiveness (though one could say so about my whole gallery) but I like to see my progress over time.
Well actually if you use a tablet, there's this really useful feature that sets your pressure on the pen to the opacity of the color you're putting down. If you do it this way, you can work at basically 100% opacity and still blend. You can also use the airbrush setting, but I dont really know how to use it lol. When I'm blending, not that I'm amazing at blending or anything, I tend to steer away from the size-by-penpressure though, that just messes me up
Oh, cool, I'll have to find out how to use that setting then. Also, I'm not sure what it is, but I think my tablet is sort of broken. It's supposed to work by how much pressure you put on the tablet but I don't notice a difference AT ALL between lots of pressure and a little. I have the airbrush setting turned on or the tilt etc. and I can't figure out why it's not working.
Well it's possible that your tablet doesn't have that feature, but it's more likely you just didn't turn it on because it defaults to off. You go to erm... *opens photoshop* brushes, other dynamics, opacity jitter, in the dropdown box beneath the slider bar you should be able to select 'en pressure'. Hope that helps!
